The international percussion sensation, better known as STOMP, will return to Portland’s Merrill Auditorium Friday, Saturday and Sunday Sept. 26, 27 and 28, courtesy of PCA Great Performances. The dance troupe that had a more than 10-year run Off-Broadway and has earned countless awards uses everything BUT conventional percussion instruments. Performers fill the stage with magnificent rhythms using matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters – you name it. Tickets are $60, $52 and $45.
