FARMINGTON – Registrations for the 16th season of the Prep Soccer Program will be held Sept. 2-4.

The Farmington Recreation Department will be open until 6 p.m. those days to accommodate parents of boys and girls, ages 5 and 6, who want to take part in the entry level program.

Practices for the six-week program begin at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and are held in the Little League Park at Hippach Field.

Last year, 48 youngsters were introduced to soccer in a pressure-free atmosphere. Zac Conlogue, director, will teach the sport through fun games, simple drills and exercises as well as pickup scrimmages. Conlogue is a Mt. Blue High School senior and a member of the school’s varsity soccer team.

The registration cost is $20 with an added $5 for nonresidents.

Registration forms are available at the Recreation Department office in the Farmington Community Center on Middle Street.
