Stephens Memorial Hospital Senior Vice President of Clinical Services M. Patricia Cook has announced that the Intensive Care Unit recently installed a Stryker XPRT Pulmonary Therapy and Wound Care Mattress for patients. The computer-controlled mattress inflates to aid patients in changing positions if they are unable to move themselves from side to side. It also is able to vibrate, which helps circulation. CNA Terry Kelley volunteered to demonstrate the bed at the inservice training for staff at the Norway hospital.
