Friday, Sept. 5, Jesse Ray Carter will perform delta blues at the restaurant/cafe She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. Born and raised in rural Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia, Carter taught himself delta blues on guitar and harmonica and started playing street corners for tips. Now besides playing solo, he plays original music with a trio and tours full time. The show will start at 9 p.m. There is no cover.
