LEWISTON – Twin sisters and recent Lewiston High School graduates Audrey and Julia Bergeron completed an undefeated season and won the women’s doubles championship in the Lewiston Recreation tennis league.

Julia Bergeron has begun her studies at Clark University, where she is made the varsity tennis team. Audrey is attending Bowdoin College and is not playing tennis at this time.

Summer’s End Classic this weekend

PORTLAND – The Summer’s End Classic Tennis Tournament, sanctioned by the Maine Tennis Association and the United States Tennis Association, will be held this Saturday and Sunday at Waynflete Sports Complex.

Competition will be held in men’s open singles and doubles, women’s open singles and doubles, open mixed doubles, and in men’s 45-and-over singles.
