FARMINGTON – Marie R. Palmer, 83, of the Fairbanks Road, Farmington, formerly of Stratton, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, at her home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., a daughter of Lewis and Wilhelmina Krontlik.

A devoted wife and mother, she leaves three children, Warren L. Palmer Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Jay; two daughters, Marie J. Muse and her husband, Derrick, of Merrimack, N.H., and Catherine R. Palmer and her companion, David Dooley, of Phippsburg; one sister, Dorothy Fallat and her husband, Teddy, of Utah; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Theresa Pratt of Farmington.

She was predeceased by her husband, Warren in 1981.
