Incident Report Statistics
Between Saturday, Sept. 6 at 6 a.m. and Monday, Sept. 15 at 12 a.m. the town of Rumford patrol officers responded to 122 complaints. These are complaints that required an officer for service.
Burglary
On Sept. 11 at 11:29 a.m., a Pine Street residence reported burglary and theft of cash and jewelry valued at approximately $2,200.
Criminal Mischief
On Sept. 6 at 12:30 p.m., damage was reported to a door at a Swain Road residence. Estimated damage $25.
On Sept. 7 at 6:30 a.m., damage was reported to two windows at a Waldo Street vacant business. Estimated damage $200
On Sept. 10 at 9 p.m., damage was reported to a guitar on Cumberland Street.
Criminal Trespass
On Sept. 9 at 8 p.m., a Waldo Street resident reported two subjects trespassing. Officers advised both to leave and they were issued warnings.
On Sept. 10 at 3:02 p.m., a Penobscot Street resident reported an intoxicated subject trespassing and sitting on her couch. Subject left without incident.
On Sept. 10 at 7:09 p.m., an Erchles Street resident reported a female subject trespassing. Officer advised the subject to leave issued a written warning.
Operating After Suspension
On Sept. 11 at 5:49 p.m., Lawrence Berry, 44, of Rumford, was arrested after a stop for an inspection violation.
On Sept. 12 at 3:32 p.m., Matthew Glover, 19, of Mexico, was arrested for OAS and Violation Bail after a stop for a registration violation.
On Sept. 12 at 8:33 p.m., Shane Richard, 23, of Locke Mills, was arrested after a stop for a defect.
Operating Under Influence
On Sept. 10 at 1 a.m., Clyde Newby, 49, of Cannan, was arrested for third offense OUI after a stop sign violation.
On Sept. 11 at 10:35 p.m., Zachary Donahue, 21, of Dixfield, was arrested on Falmouth Street for OUI.
On Sept. 13 at 10:30 p.m., Keith St. Laurent, 33, of Rumford, was arrested for OUI after a stop for a defect.
On Sept. 13 at 1:20 a.m., Julie Webber, 33, of Rumford, was arrested for OUI after a stop for a defect.
Possession of Alcohol by Minor
On Sept. 8 at 11:05 p.m., Raymond Martin, 18, of Rumford, was charged with Illegal Possession after a noise complaint.
Theft
On Sept. 9 at 5:34 p.m., a Franklin Street resident reported theft of an oil filter and $23 in cash.
On Sept. 9 at 8 p.m., a Rumford resident was reported as failure to pay $15 in gas to a Rumford business. Payment made and no charges.
On Sept. 10 at 5:15 p.m., a Spruce Street resident reported theft of a gas can with about three gallons of gas. Approximate $20 theft.
On Sept. 13 at 2:30 a.m., Nathan Patterson, 19, of Gorham, was arrested on Rumford Avenue for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle after stealing a couple of credit cards and $7 in loose change. Patterson will be additionally charged with Criminal Mischief, False ID and possibly Forgery. The additional charges as a result of providing a false name and identification.
On Sept. 14 at 3:05 a.m., a Rumford taxi company reported a theft of $4.50 worth of services.

Wayne Sinclair, 48, of Mexico, has two Rumford DC warrants.
Christopher Rollins, 27, of Livermore/New Sharon, has a warrant for Failure to Appear for OASHO and Bail Violation.
Lorin Richards, 35, of Rumford, has a 2008 warrant for Failure to Pay Fines for Operating After Suspension.
Kermit Houghton, 57, of Carthage, has a 2008 warrant for Failure to Pay Fines for Furnishing Drugs.
