Veterans gathered on Main Street in Farmington Friday for National POW/MIA Recognition Day. At noon, American Legion District Commander Charles Bennett rang a bell 13 times for the 13 Maine soldiers still missing from Vietnam. A helmet, boots, wreath and teddy bear were displayed above the words, “You are not forgotten.”
