SABATTUS – The wedding of Elizabeth Harris Downs and Joseph Norman Rossignol was held Aug. 23 outside at the home of the parents of the bridegroom, Diane Rossignol and Fred Ross, in Sabattus. Carmella Rose Murphy, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
The couple walked hand in hand down the aisle. The bride wore a satin white sun dress with black flower design and carried a bouquet of magenta sunflowers and white and yellow roses.
Ushers were the sons of the bridegroom, Joey and Daymon Rossignol.
A reception followed at the Rossignol home, after which the couple traveled to Boothbay Harbor for whale watching.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. In 2002, she received a master’s degree in fine arts. She is tattoo artist and owner of Twin City Ink in Lewiston.
The bridegroom has been a renowned artist in the community for the past 15 years and has won multiple awards. He is tattoo artist and owner of Twin City Ink Inc. in Lewiston.
