LEWISTON – Deborah Hawksley and Dr. Paul Mailhot were united in marriage June 21 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Michael Seavey officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Mailhot is the daughter of Dorothy Martineau of Melbourne, Fla. Dr. Mailhot is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Mailhot.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Capt. Travis Hawksley, who is stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She wore a long ivory satin gown accented with beads and pearls and a small train. She wore a tiara in her hair and carried a bouquet of white Calla lilies wrapped in an antique doily from Austria.
Capt. Hawksley served as man of honor. Tiara Hawksley, daughter of the bride, served as bridesmaid.
Christopher Mailhot, son of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were David and Marc Mailhot, sons of the bridegroom.
A reception followed the ceremony at Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, attended by friends and family. The couple honeymooned in the Mediterranean and they currently reside in Lewiston.
The bride is employed at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in the operating room as a CST, coordinating the neurosurgery service.
The bridegroom is a urologist, practicing at Central Maine Medical Center and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
