AUBURN – Comedian Paul Nardizzi will bring his rapid-fire style and sarcastic bent on life in the suburbs to The Fireside Inn & Suites (formerly the Auburn Inn) Saturday, Oct. 4. Joining him will be Jon Lincoln and Dan Gill, two rising stars on the Boston comedy scene.

Known for his sports humor, Nardizzi recently performed on the NESN “Comedy All-Stars,” but his appeal goes beyond sports. This in-demand comedian is a regular on national television, with multiple appearances on NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Comedy Central” and Fox Sports’ “Best Damn Sports Show Period.”

He has produced a CD and DVD, and is the author of three books. His latest is “602 Reasons to be Ticked Off.”

Lincoln is a regular at New York’s famous Comic Strip Live and the Broadway Comedy Club, and has performed at The Comedy Connection in Boston and Portland, The Funny Bone in Hartford, and Catch A Rising Star in Providence. He is also part of “The Undiscovered Comedy Tour,” which plays at colleges around the country. He was recently featured in the Boston Comedy Festival “Best of the Fest” show and was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Riots.

The show will be hosted by Gill, a bombastic everyman who performs around New England, including Joker’s in Portland, The Chateau in Manchester, N.H., and the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Show tickets are $12 with reservation, $15 without. Showtime is 8 p.m. For tickets, call 777-1777.
