GERMANY – The wedding of Kerstin Urban and Raymond Soucy was held at 11 a.m., July 4, in Germany.
Mrs. Soucy is the daughter of Manfred and Elisabeth Urban of Germany and the granddaughter of Elisabeth Poplatnik and Edeltraud Urban. Mr. Soucy is the son of Brian and Dolly Soucy of Lisbon and the grandson of Maurice and Rachel Gagne of Lewiston and Ray and Margie Gagne of Monmouth.
The bride, escorted by the bridegroom, wore a full-length white silk taffeta sleeveless gown, with spaghetti straps and with tiny white pearls on the bodice. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Marga Sharifi, aunt, was honor attendant. Chris Grau, cousin of the bride, performed the duties of best man. Nico Urban, son of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the home of the couple, after which they traveled to Maine in Old Orchard Beach.
The bride is a graduate of Pestalozzie Hauptschule Oberasbach and is employed as a cashier at Kaufland.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Lisbon High School and is a sergeant in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany.
