More than 80 people filled the fellowship room of the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church on Sept. 13 for an old-fashioned bean supper. Church women offered beans, brown bread, rolls, salads, casseroles and pies. Men of the church will sponsor a harvest supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, and encourage area residents to attend for a meal and conversation. The meal is free, but donations will be accepted.
