PARIS – The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce has delayed a business showcase scheduled to take place this month.
Executive Director Steve Wallace said the showcase will take place next spring, possibly in late March or early April, instead. The event was planned for Oct. 24 and 25 at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Wallace said the decision to postpone the event was made after consultation with chamber members and businesses, and included concerns over the financial situation and winter heating costs.
“Every one of our members’ dollars is important, and as a chamber, I want to ensure that we continue to hold events that not only value our members’ investments, but in one form or another give them a satisfactory return on their bottom line,” Wallace said.
Businesses are invited to share ideas for the spring show with the chamber by calling 743-2281 or e-mailing [email protected].
