BURNHAM – Maj. Ruel “Dudley” Burnham, U.S.A.F. (Ret.), 85, of Jay, died in Augusta, Oct. 5. A celebration of life with military honors was attended by family and friends at the VFW Post No. 3335 in Jay on Oct. 9. Dudley was cremated per his wishes and his ashes are to be spread at his monument site at Severy Hill Cemetery, Androscoggin Lake, the Eastern Desert in Saudi Arabia, Old Tampa Bay and the Atlantic Ocean off Bailey’s Island. Dudley was a good friend to animals and shared his long life with many cats and dogs.
