LISBON FALLS – Four different Lisbon High School players scored in a convincing 4-0 Mountain Valley Conference field hockey win Monday over Georges Valley.

Kait Dingley kickstarted the Greyhounds (9-4) with her goal at 7:24 of the first half. Amanda Lamb and Kelly Bourgoin each connected before halftime. Kayla Michaud connected on a penalty stroke with 11:32 remaining.

Ciara Smalley stopped 23 shots for the Buccaneers (4-9).

Monica Lakin made three saves in the Lisbon cage.

Edward Little 4, Hampden 0

AUBURN – Edward Little enters the Eastern Class A field hockey playoffs on a six-game winning streak after its 4-0 shutout of Hampden.

Emily Ranucci scored two goals and Katie Williamson added a goal and an assist for the Red Eddies (8-4-2), who led 3-0 at halftime.

Josie Lahey also rattled the cage for EL. Diana Kruszweski delivered an assist.

Mel Parker made 19 saves to lead the Broncos (2-10-1). Her counterpart, Kayla Cummings, had a quiet day as the Eddies outshot their visitors, 25-0.

Brewer 3, Oxford Hills 2

BREWER – Tonya Carlson’s second goal of the game with 10:19 remaining boosted Brewer to a 3-2 KVAC field hockey victory over Oxford Hills.

Marisa Hanning tied the game early in the second half for the Vikings (3-8-3) on an assist from Alexis Gamache.

Delaney Turner set up Carlson’s first goal for the Witches (6-8). Emily Frazier also registered an unassisted tally to counter Ebony Mills’ strike for Oxford Hills.

Kristy Jurczak assisted the Mills goal. Oxford Hills’ Mariah Kimball made three saves.

Angela Patterson stopped eight to protect Brewer’s victory.

Jay/Livermore 1, Georges Valley 1

JAY – Katie Beaulieu made 23 saves to help the Jay/Livermore Falls cooperative girls’ soccer team strengthen its Western Class B playoff position with a 1-1 Mountain Valley Conference tie against Class C power Georges Valley.

Hillary Deane scored for the Wildcats (6-3-4) in the eighth minute of the contest. Lindsey Jacques assisted.

Bethany Snow notched the equalizer, unassisted, with 11 minutes left in regulation.

Emily Cocks stopped three shots for the Bucs (10-1-2), who enjoyed a 28-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Buckfield 3, Valley 1

BUCKFIELD – Lindsey Henderson scored two Buckfield goals and assisted the third in the Bucks’ 3-1 triumph over Valley in East-West Conference competition.

Ashlee Hamann scored the opening goal for Buckfield (7-1-1).

Carly Carlile made 18 saves to help the Bucks protect a 2-0 halftime lead.

Katelyn Atwood picked up an unassisted goal for the Cavaliers (0-7-2).

Boys’ soccer

Dirigo 2, Monmouth 0

MONMOUTH – Dylan Castonguay and Tyler Gates scored in a two-minute span of the second half to give Dirigo a 2-0 Mountain Valley Conference boys’ soccer victory over Monmouth.

Caleb Turner made six saves for the Cougars (5-7-2).

Seth Musich stopped 13 shots for the Mustangs (4-8-1).
