He has visited many prospective voters in the district and has an excellent idea of what concerns voters. An Army veteran, University of Maine at Farmington graduate and lifelong area resident, he would bring a wealth of experience to the office. He recently retired as job service manager for the Maine Department of Labor. He has served as a member of Jay’s Board of Selectmen, School Committee, Planning Board, Budget Committee, Regional School Planning Committee and the Jay Community Development Block Grant Committee. In his spare time, he has volunteered with Literacy Volunteers of America and SeniorsPlus and the Western Maine Agency on Aging.
