I am a staunch Republican, but feel the need to write on behalf of Peggy Rotundo.

She is the type of person who does exactly what she says she will do. No nonsense, no appeasing the masses (how rare is that, these days?) and has only Lewiston’s and Maine’s best interest at heart. I agree with her on health care issues, education and creating jobs for Maine citizens.

She will fight for what’s right – tighter budgets without cutting off Maine families in need, and make sure all Maine families have access to medical care. She is honest, passionate and willing to do what it takes to the betterment of Lewiston and all of Maine.

She was a wonderful senator and deserves to continue her passion for Maine in the House of Representitives. Democrats and Republicans alike should be smart and vote for Peggy Rotundo.
