History sets
FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue Community Access TV Channel 11, on the Beeline Cable TV network, has presented to the town of Wilton, Wilton Free Public Library, Farmington Historical Society and Farmington Free Library a collection of oral histories called “Remembering Franklin County.”
The programs showcase people who have lived in the area and who remember the changes throughout the county’s development. Many of the people have since died; however their memories are etched for all to see.
MBTV was able to provide the collection through a grant from the Maine Community Foundation, which helped support the project.
