AUBURN – City Manager Glenn Aho will host a dinner reception Tuesday night at Holly’s Own Deli on Court Street, across Mechanics Row from Auburn Hall.

“My goal is to get as much information from people as I can,” Aho said. “The more information I have, the better job I can do, and this is one way to meet people and find out what they need.”

The reception is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the deli, 84 Court St. Light refreshments will be served.

Councilors hired Aho in May of this year. He comes from Lincoln, where he spent 12 years as that town’s manager. He has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Maine-Orono.

Aho plans to discuss his management philosophies, public service achievements and vision for Auburn’s future.
