ASHFORD, Conn. (AP) – The family of an 8-year-old Connecticut boy who accidentally shot himself with an Uzi at a gun show in western Massachusetts has released funeral plans.
The family of Christopher Bizilj (bah-SEAL’) is planning a funeral Mass Thursday and private burial. They will not have a wake or calling hours.
The family says a Mass will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield, Mass.
The family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Ashford School for new computer technology.
Massachusetts authorities are investigating whether criminal charges should be filed in the boy’s death.
