LEWISTON – Pam Ouellette, daughter of Rose Small of Lewiston, was selected as one of this year’s recipients of the Employee of the Year Award for the city of San Luis Obispo, Calif. She received the award at the city’s annual employee recognition picnic in September. The award is given to employees in each department for performance exhibiting the city’s organizational values. She started working for the city in 2003, after having a 16-year career with Chevron USA Inc. She works in the city’s Utilities Division as the chief operator at a treatment plant.

Ouellette was a member of the National Honor Society while at Edward Little High School and graduated in 1973.
