Craft fair

NORTH JAY – The Thrift Shop will have its fall craft sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8. There will be a food sale on Saturday as well. It is the last weekend that the thrift shop will be open.

Fair, raffle

JAY – Boston Celtics vs. L.A. Lakers tickets are up for grabs at the St. Rose Christmas fair and raffle to be held on Saturday, Nov. 22. There are also more than 60 other prizes. Cost will be 25 tickets for $2.

There will also be food, book and white elephant tables. The women will offer a meal of turkey pot pie or fish chowder with a dessert and beverage.

School change

SALEM – During this school year, report cards and progress reports will not be mailed home from Mt. Abram High School. They will be given to students to take home. Dates of distribution will be announced. Report cards for the first quarter will be distributed to students on Friday, Nov. 7.
