DIXFIELD – Members and friends of the Dixfield Common Baptist Church and the Carthage Union Church will hold the sixth annual Thank-You Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Dixfield Common Baptist Church, Common Road.

Each year the churches honor a group of people whom members feel deserve recognition for their contribution to the community that may not otherwise be acknowledged.

This year they are honoring the road commissioners and the crews who serve the community and invite them and their families to attend for food and a celebration of thanks for what they do.

Following the dinner a concert will be offered by Alan Hutchinson, a native of Carthage, now living in Jay. Hutchinson ministers in music at the United Baptist Church in Peru and gives private lessons.
