LEWISTON – Holy Cross Council 12652, Knights of Columbus, Auxiliary, KC members and parishioners held a dedication ceremony for the “Memorial of the Unborn” on the grounds at Holy Cross Church on Oct. 5.

The memorial is a place where people can go to pray for the unborn whose lives were taken as the result of an abortion.

The Auxiliary held a fundraiser during 2007 and, along with donations from the KC, senior citizens, parishioners and friends of Holy Cross, the memorial was made possible.

Gerard and Linda Henault are pro-life directors for the Knights of Columbus. They are also the Family of the Month for October. The award was presented by Grand Knight Larry Thibault. Gerard warden and captain for the 4th Degree Assembly. Linda is the auxiliary president.
