FARMINGTON – The Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road, will host a concert fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 8, in conjunction with other churches in the area.

A special Veterans Recognition Ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. followed by a baked bean supper. Donations collected will be given to the Franklin County Ecumenical Heating Fund for distribution to needy families.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

3 p.m., Patricia Hayden, Old South Congregational Church, for a hymn sing; 4, the Muellers, a nationally renowned bluegrass Gospel band; 5, veteran’s recognition ceremony; 6, baked bean supper.

Also, 7, Greater Purpose from Farmington Baptist Church; 8, Unite Ignite from Calvary Hill and Fayette Baptist Churches; 9, Widow’s Mite from Western Mountains and Fayette Baptist Churches
