FARMINGTON – Local Historian Don DesRoches will review the many photos taken by local news reporter Babara Yeaton with the Farmington Historical Society at a Monday, Nov. 10, meeting. He recently restored and exhibited the photos at the Farmington Fair.

DesRoches has a passion for preserving local history as evidenced by the restoration work and exhibit of the Old Red School House in which he played an instrumental roll in 2007.

This years’ project with the Yeaton photos included restoring many that had water damage and soliciting the help of the public in identifying the subjects in the collection. DesRoches will bring many of the photos to the meeting and will encourage attendees to help in the identification process.

A potluck dinner will be held in the basement of the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church on Academy Street at 6 p.m. followed by a short business meeting and the program. The public is invited.
