FARMINGTON – The Tuesday, Nov. 11, Veterans’ Day schedule for Roderick Crosby American Legion Post 28 has been announced.

The Color Guard will attend a service at the World War I Memorial at 11 a.m., with Boy Scouts also in attendance. From there, they will meet at the Meetinghouse Park for a prayer.

Services will be held noon at Wal-Mart. The Color Guard, Fourth District commander and the Young Marines will perform the Fallen Hero’s Salute and honor the flag. A poem will be read by Charles Bennett.

The guest speaker, Sgt Major Richard Hannibal of the Maine National Guard, will speak and a prayer will be offered. Farmington and Wilton fire departments will display the 15′ x 25′ flag in the parking lot.

A beef stew dinner will be served at noon at the American Legion Post, corner of High and Middle streets.
