The high point of my day is going out to my box by the road and picking up my newspaper. Summer and winter, I can test the weather before I take my walk.

The television is fine, but details are in the newspaper. How would I know who died, or had a new baby?

Cartoons are always special, and the editorial page keeps me occupied for quite a while.

None of those things are on television, unless a person lives to be 100 years old!

I hope the newspaper continues.
