LEWISTON – Michael and Kathleen Danforth of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Danforth of Sebago, to Rick E. Cormier of Sebago, son of Michael and Nancy Merrick of Venice, Fla., and father of Etta Mackay Cormier, age four, of Sebago and St. George.

Miss Danforth is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in marine and freshwater biology. She is currently employed as data analytics manager at Idexx Labs of Westbrook.

Mr. Cormier is a 1994 graduate of South Portland High School and is employed as project manager at Great Falls Builders of Gorham. He is also serving in the 101st Civil Engineer Unit of the Air Force National Guard in Bangor.

Their wedding will take place Dec. 12 at St. Lucia Sandals Resort on the Isle of Grande St. Lucian.
