AUBURN – Tom and Mary Hughes of Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca P. Hughes, to Ondrej Sirka, son of Ondris and Marija Sirka of Leamington, Ontario.

Miss Hughes is a 2004 graduate of Edward Little High School and received her associate degree in Biblical studies from Christian Life College in Stockton, Calif., in May of 2007. She is currently enrolled in the BSN program at the University of Southern Maine.

Mr. Sirka received a bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Christian Life College and he is a May graduate of Regent University in Virginia with a master’s degree in education. He is currently employed at Xplornet in Woodstock, New Brunswick.

An August wedding is planned.
