Livermore Elementary School students and staff collected 735 items in food that filled 24 boxes during a 10-day food drive, organizer SAD 36 custodian Errol Stevens said Tuesday. “They came together to help out families at this time of year,” he said. Donations were also received and will be sent along with the food to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard on Wednesday. Teacher Debbie Timberlake organized the daily collections. Her third-graders posed Tuesay with some of the food boxes. They are, from left in front, Morgan Dalton, Alexis Beardsley, Olivia Hobby, Hunter Dalton, Hunter Whitney and Tommy Parent.
