I cannot believe that I’m the only one. The election is finally over, the signs are down … well most of them, anyway. The television is back to being a safe, inane way to pass the time.

Now, if we could just get everyone out there who thinks it necessary to fill up the editorial page with all of their political meanderings to find a nice hobby … like knitting, or cross stitch … or perhaps volunteering somewhere they could actually make a difference.

Enough with the mudslinging already.

If you voted one way, hurrah, you won. Move on.

If you voted the other way, well … sorry folks; missed this round. But four years goes quickly, and you’ll have your chance again. In the meantime, find something else to do.

I just cannot believe that I am the only one who feels this way.
