• Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce will hold a Holiday Auction at the Town Hall, North High Street, Bridgton from 5 to 8 p.m.

November 22

• The First Congregational Church, 17 East Main Street in South Paris will be holding their annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 22 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Join us for breakfast or lunch. Lunch is just $6. FMI call 743-2437.

November 23

• The Oxford Hills Area Clergy Association invites the community to take part in their annual Thanksgiving service. The service will feature clergy from the association leading worship together and a combined chorus made up of members of the various area church choirs. Each year the service travels to another church from the association. This year the service will be held at Saint Catherine’s in Norway at 7 p.m. FMI call 743-6782.

November 27

Residents of Oxford Hills who would like to share a Thanksgiving dinner are invited to a FREE Thanksgiving Day dinner at noon, St. Catherine’s Church parish center, 32 Paris Street, Norway. This event is co-sponsored by the committee of St. Catherine of Sienna Church and Christ Episcopal Church. For reservations, call 743-2606.

November 29: The Norway Business Association is sponsoring free Green Taxi (horses and wagon) rides from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout Norway on Nov. 29 prior to the Chamber parade. Pick-up and drop off locations: parking lot behind the Fare Share, Beals Tavern parking lot next to L.F. Pike & Son, Danforth Street and the old Ketner Pharmacy parking lot on Fair Street. There will also be Elf Stops with participating merchants where free snacks will be available. Watch papers for locations. The Green Taxi will also run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 13.
