NORWAY – Jayne Phillips, CRNA, has been hired as a nurse anesthetist in the Anesthesia Department at Stephens Memorial Hospital
The announcement was made by Western Maine Health Senior Vice President of Clinical, M. Patricia Cook, RN, BSN, EdD, and Dr. Kenneth Raessler, chief of anesthesia.
Phillips joins Kathy Newcomb, CRNA, and Pam Chadwick, CRNA.
Phillips grew up in the Oxford Hills area and has many family and friends here. She has moved back to Maine to be with her family after residing in Omaha, Neb., for 20 years. The family has settled into their home in South Paris.
She graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing degree from the University of Maine and received her CRNA certification at the Mercy Hospital School of Anesthesia.
She has worked as a CRNA for 24 years, in Maine and Nebraska.
