SCARBOROUGH – Veteran harness racer Leigh Fitch, now well into his fifth decade of driving the state harness racing circuit, picked up his 7,400th career win Saturday at Scarborough downs. Fitch guided Wildfire Woman to the milestone triumph.

Fitch is the third-leading dash winner in Maine history, trailing only Lisbon native Walter Case Jr. (11,027 victories) and Billy Parker Jr, (9,490).
