LEWISTON – The wedding of Danielle Sirois and Daniel Leighton was held on the afternoon of July 19 at South Lewiston Baptist Church in Lewiston. The reception followed at Lost Valley Ski Resort. Pastor Bryan Church officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Leighton is the daughter of Elaine Sirois and Bruce McFarland of Wales and Richard and Laurie Sirois of Leeds. Mr. Leighton is the son of Michael and Susan Leighton of Orrington.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Richard Sirois and Elaine Sirois. Desiree Pushard was the matron of honor and Abby Reynolds was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included sisters of the bride, Cortney Sirois and Sierra Sirois, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer Leighton, and Jessica Jacques. Haley Pushard and Jacie Richards served as flower girls.
Best men were brothers of the bridegroom, Mathew Leighton and Brian Leighton. Groomsmen included brothers of the bride, Richard Sirois Jr., Justin Greenleaf and Dylan Sirois, and a close friend, Jason Coleman. Noah Sirois, brother of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The couple traveled to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico for their honeymoon. They are residing in Orrington.
The bride is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and the University of Southern Maine. She is employed as the Records Coordinator at Husson University.
The bridegroom is a graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School and is currently employed by Luxotica Retail in Bangor.
