Linda Layden, scrimshaw artist, will give a talk and demonstration of her work at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Gallery 302 in Bridgton. Layden, who has been involved in making scrimshaw art for 35 years, will explain the different types of materials she uses. Her work is in private collections, museums, galleries, fine gift shops and catalogs across the United States. For more information, call 647-ARTS.
