LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls High School sophomore class is sponsoring a free community holiday dinner for area senior citizens at 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13, at school cafeteria.
Through donations from area businesses, a dance the class held and donations from parents of class members, the class is able to offer the meal free of charge.
The menu includes turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, peas, cranberry sauce, pies, coffee and punch.
Students also plan holiday entertainment including Christmas music and a short Christmas skit.
Students have been giving out tickets to grandparents and other senior citizens. There will also be some door prizes.
“We do have more tickets available,” SAD 36 library media specialist Cathi Howell said.
Interested seniors may contact Howell at 897-3428, ext. 211 or Sue St. Pierre at the same number, ext. 111 at the high school for free tickets.
