GILFORD, N.H. (AP) – The Gilford, N.H., woman who was driving a boat that smashed into a rocky island in Lake Winnipesaukee last summer, killing her friend, has been indicted on negligent homicide charges.

Thirty-four-year-old Erica Blizzard of Laconia was also indicted on an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge.

Thirty-four-year-old Stephanie Beaudoin of Meredith was killed in the crash on Father’s Day. Blizzard and passenger Nicole Shinopules of Burlington, Mass., were injured.
