RUMFORD POINT – The wedding of Katey L. Bisson and Jason A. Brown was held Sept. 6 at the Perennial Inn in Rumford Point. Kathleen Michaud, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Brown is the daughter of Raymond and Kathleen Bisson of Mexico. Mr. Brown is the son of Randy and Mary Brown of Rumford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lani Bisson, sister-in-law of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Angela Brown, sister of the bridegroom, and Jessica McCaffrey, friend of the bride.

A friend of the bridegroom, Ryan Parent, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Jeffrey Bisson, brother of the bride, and Isaac Stickney, friend of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Perennial Inn in Rumford Point, after which the couple traveled to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. They are residing in Mexico.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree. She is employed at Paychex in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Montana in Missoula. He is employed at the Margaret Murphy Center for Children in Lewiston.
