For the second time, the St. Dom’s Drama Society put on a very successful production of “Godspell the Musical.” All three performances were very well attended. John Winter did a wonderful job of portraying the dynamic role of Jesus. He was able to keep the entire audience laughing and to make each audience member reflect during the more serious parts of the show.

Delton Hulbert (John the Baptist/Judas/Peter) and Matt Lamare gave very strong vocal performances. Pablo Barajas was most definitely the comedic relief of the show. His comedic timing was impeccable, and his solo, “We Beseech Thee” was powerfully sung. Bethany St. Hilaire, Maisy Cyr, and Cathryn Skaleski all had very strong solos.

The band, almost entirely students, was also very impressive. Monica Michaud’s choreography made each number fun and dynamic. Overall, the show was very entertaining, and each cast member added his or her own flair to make the production unique and enjoyable.
