CHICAGO – Patrick Sharp scored his team-leading 19th goal of the season and the Chicago Blackhawks won their eighth straight to match the franchise record, beating the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1 on Friday night.
Andrew Ladd, Brian Campbell, Kris Versteeg and Dave Bolland also scored, and Nikolai Khabibulin made 17 saves. The Blackhawks also won eight straight games in December 1971 and January 1981.
