KENNEBUNKPORT (AP) – Four people are homeless following a Christmas night fire at an apartment building in Kennebunkport.

Crews responded at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of a chimney fire at the building on Elm Street. The flames spread to the walls and damaged two apartments.

One firefighter suffered a cut while battling the flames.

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the victims.
