The Maranacook Squirts improved to 12-4 by splitting a pair of games last weekend.
On Saturday, Maranacook posted a 4-2 victory over Auburn. Joey Baumann led Maranacook with three goals and Brandon Couloumbe scored once. Jasobn St. Pierre and Nick Cerullo had assists. Matt Verrill scored both Auburn goals and Jameson Pooler had an assist. Goalies were Mat Welch and Reece Rodrigue.
The next day, Western Maine Blue Wolverines beat Maranacook 15-8. John Greesh and Travis Townsend scored four goals for Western Maine. Zackery Callahan had three, while Kaleb Currier, Matthew Buchanan, Dylan Richmond and Bailey Plummer had one each. Scoring for Maranacook – 3 by Brandon Couloumbe, 1 each by Mathew Welch, Jason St. Pierre, Nick Cerullo, Joey Baumann and Patrick Miller. Assists – Western Maine: Gresh 3, Currier and Callahan 2, Townsend 1. Maranacook: Coulombe 2, one each by Baumann and Welch. Goalies – Maranacook: Jack Vickerson.
