AUBURN – The wedding of Jessica Foss and Adam Polvinen was held at 6 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Lost Valley Ski Lodge in Auburn. Aubrey Russell, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Polvinen is the daughter of James and Brenda Marchesseault of Minot and Richard and Terry Foss of Buckfield. Mr. Polvinen is the son of Alvin and Joanne Polvinen of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father and stepfather, wore a satin pick-up ball gown with sweep train, cuff neckline and lace-up back in white and champagne trim. She carried a bouquet of ivory and champagne roses, thistle, blue delphinium and ruscus.
Heather Foss was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Jayne Bristol, sister of the bridegroom, Hope Marchesseault, sister of the bride, JoAl Pratt, sister of the bridegroom, and Elaine Pratte, best friend of the bride. Brianna Palmer, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Jeff Cotnoir performed the duties of best man for his best friend. Ushers were Jared Bristol, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Hunter Foss, brother of the bride, Josh Pratt, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Pat Levasseur, friend of the bridegroom. Thomas Marchesseault, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Lost Valley, after which the couple traveled on a four-day cruise to the Bahamas, leaving from Florida. They are residing in Oxford.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Bakerstown High School and is employed at St. Mary’s Neurology Associates as an EEG technician.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and is manager at Al’s Auto and Truck Inc.
