GRAY – Michael and Theresa Beaulieu of Gray are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christie Anne Beaulieu, to Matthew James Somma of Portland, son of James and Connie Somma of Portland.

The couple will be married on Aug. 1.

Miss Beaulieu graduated from Catherine McAuley High School in 2003. In 2006 she graduated cum laude from the University of New England, earning a degree in dental hygiene. She is currently practicing as a dental hygienist in South Portland.

Mr. Somma graduated from Cheverus High School in 2002. In 2006 he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in medical biology and psychology. He is currently finishing his doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of New England. He will be graduating in May of 2009.

The wedding will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. A reception will follow immediately at Dune Grass Country Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach.

Miss Beaulieu is the granddaughter of Laurette Bilodeau and the late Gerald R. Bilodeau and the late Theresa and Leo Beaulieu, all of Lewiston.
