• A car driven by Nicholas Moreau, 16, of Auburn, left the road, hit a mailbox, a utility pole and a rock at midnight, Sunday on Broad Street. Damage to the 2000 Mazda driven by Moreau and owned by Scott R. Moreau of Auburn was estimated at $8,000. Damage to the cracked utility pole was estimated at $15,000.
