Eight teams, dozens of games, but one victor. This year was a very challenging soccor year for every team, and every team had their fair share of wins and losses. By the end of each game, both teams were always sweating, for every game was as intense and tiring as the last, leaving many players sore afterwards.
Eight teams including Central Maine Christian Academy, Pine Tree Christian School, Temple Christian School, Ossipee Valley Christian School, Windham Christian School, Oxford Hills Christian School, Living Waters Christian School, and Vineyard Christian School. “Exasperating” was one word used by one soccor player after the season ended, which was true, it was indeed a very tiring season. Another word used by one parent was, “Exhilarating”, because, though it was sometimes frustrating, it was, in My opinion, one of our funniest seasons.
In our last play-off game, in the first half, we were behind one to zero. In the second half, the other team gained a lead of five to zero, until, twenty minutes left in the game, we gained three points. Those were some of our best goals, including a great header into the goal by one of our MVP’s, Eugene Field. Overall, it was a great soccor season, and we can’t wait for next year.
