Brick house photos make up library display

NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library is hosting a pictorial display of Otisfield’s brick houses through February and March.

The Otisfield Historical Society has loaned its collection of photographs of brick houses, with building dates ranging from 1839 to 1858. Library visitors will learn where the bricks were made locally, and how the bricks were brought to Otisfield.

Accompanying the display is a map that locates the houses. Jean Hankins and Ethel Turner, members of the Otisfield Historical Society, created the display.
